Test 1: Keyboard Navigation
Ensure that all interactive elements can be accessed and operated using only the keyboard.
- 1.Tab: Navigate to links and form controls.
- 2.Shift + Tab: Navigate backwards.
- 3.Spacebar: Activate checkboxes and buttons.
- 4.Enter: Activate links and buttons.
- 5.Arrow keys: Radio buttons, select/drop-down menus, sliders, tab panels, auto-complete, tree menus, etc.
- 6.Escape: Dismisses browser dialog or menu (or any other interactive element).

How to test: All interactive elements that can be accessed by mouse can be reached using the keyboard.

Test 2: Content Understandability
Evaluate the clarity and comprehensibility of the content on the page, including text, images, and multimedia.

Sensory Characteristics (Step 1)
Test context: Ensure that instructions and information are not solely conveyed through sensory characteristics such as color, shape, size, visual location, orientation, or sound.
Colors (Criterion 1 / 2)
How to test: Evaluate whether content/actions are not only understandable through color alone (e.g., a red asterisk or border, or instructions like: 'Click the red button'), but are also made clear through text or other non-color indicators (e.g., 'Required field' or text on the button). Note: Links that are only distinguished by color should be evaluated as an error. At least one additional visual distinction (e.g., underline) is needed to make the difference clear.

How to test: Is there a transcript for audio-only content? The transcript should reflect the spoken content and any relevant sounds or music.
